to the masses subjected to dysfunctional music.” Although life has taken previous members to other pursuits, Jolomite and Negus continue the flow of energy that InI MLD originally created back in their living room in the nineties. Title: Jonathan Powley Comedy
Location: Gizzis 16 West 8th St bet 5th Ave and McDougal
Link out: Click here
Description: Jonathan Powley is one of the fastest rising stars in comedy today. He is also writing his own bio. Probably a more accurate first sentence should read, “Coming from a little town called Mountain Top, located in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, Jonathan has spent the last 7 years in New York making people laugh in some of the top comedy clubs in the city!”
He has a passion for stand up comedy and loves making people laugh. Whether it’s on a subway platform, or standing in line at a bank, or out with friends, or on a stage, he’s devoted to writing new material and performing as much as he can. He’s extremely likable and one of the funniest clean comics working today. He has taken a number of comedy writing and performance classes at the New School as well as at the Uprights Citizen Brigade.
Jonathan’s accomplishments in the comedy industry include being a semi-finalist in 2009 for New York’s Funniest Comedian Competition, part of the New York Comedy Festival, and producing a long-running show at Arlo and Esme (a weekly comedy show called “Buns and Puns”) where each week he makes free homemade buns for all the audience members who come to the show.

Title: Nathan Lucrezio – Virtuoso musician night
Location: Gizzis 16 West 8th St bet 5th Ave and McDougal
Link out: Click here
Description: “I had the privilege of getting to see Nathan Lucrezio perform his autobiographical musical UnHeard recently in New York City. As with many plays and musicals, the success or failure of the piece often rests on the shoulders of the actor playing the lead role. And with Nathan, UnHeard has a leading man that is courageous, raw, honest, and tremendously talented. A true triple-threat, Nathan’s charm and sincerity draw the audience in, and leave them wishing for his success. With talent like his, Lucrezio will not be “unheard” for long.”
