Clive Unger’s Madame X synopsis:
On a visit to see John Singer Sergeant’s Madame X at a local art museum, Clive Unger (played by Dan Cullen) , a failing artist, is drawn to Jacob Van Walscappelle’s Vase of Flowers. From afar this painting exhibits lavish, vibrant flowers in a vase. But up close, it shows an unsightly view of decaying flowers infested with bugs and flies. This ambiguous facade strikingly parallels with Clive himself. No one, not even his fellow Lady Head Vase enthusiast and antique shop owner, Gloria Glass (played by Rena Ballot), would ever fathom Clive’s next “artistic” endeavor.
The film is written, edited, and directed by Brian Decicco. Brian, also co produced the film with Solomon Chertok. Deanna R. Frieman was the set designer for the film. The film was shot with the Sony DVCPRO HD camera. The film was shot on location in New Jersey, Brooklyn, and Long Island. The cast of the film include: Dan Cullen, Rena Ballot, Allison Drew, Scream Queen Debbie D, Scream Queen Tina Krause, singer/songwriter Michele Mupo, Michelle Fix, and David Decicco.
